Abu Dhabi Fish Market

The Fish Market opens early as fish start arriving from the adjacent Dhow Harbor. The fish vendors unload the fish and prepare their displays on top of crushed ice.  The Market is broken down in colors.  The blue jackets sell the fish, the men in the red are cleaning the fish and the yellow guys are porters.  A diverse range of faces shows up here, Iranian, Egyptian, and Jordanian men work with the Pakistani’s and Indians.

In the back of the fish market is a series of small stalls, where your fish  grilled and prepared for take-away.  Often times we would buy a couple kilos of prawns, have them grilled, sit by the wharf eating them and enjoy the sunset.
